Choosing music I think is the tough part, but I have just been listing to Butterfly by Delta Goodrem and thought it would be perfect being played whilst Signing of the Registar, photographs and Marriage Certificate Presentation. Here are the lyrics -

Butterfly - Delta Goodrem

I won't hurt you

I'll protect you

I won't let the rain fall down
I'll always be around
and baby I will understand if sometimes
you just want to spread your wings and fly
and let your colours shine
and everyday I wanna be a risk you take
make a promise that will never break for life
you're my butterfly
don't fly away open my hands your free
praying you'll come back to meyou're my butterfly
don't fly away
you're my reality
always be my gravity
you're my butterfly
come on and touch the sky
you're my butterfly
I won't forget you
or neglect you
won't let no-one take your place
in your eyes i see my face
and baby do you know that everybody watches
every time that you take flight
they're blinded by your light
every day the feeling's gonna be the same
I can promise that will never change for life
[chorus]
Over the last few days me and Dave have been looking over the Ceremony Booklet choosing our Ceremony words. Here's what we have chosen.

The Copplerige Inn has been duly sanctioned according to law for the celebration of marriages. You are here to witness the joining in matrimony of David (full name) and Tracey (full name).

we have the option of a Reading by a Guest, Song or a Piece of Music but decided not to. but that could change if some one in the family says they want to do a Reading or something.

Presentation of the Bride

The Bride wishes to be presented or given away.

Intention to Marry

The following paragraphs take you through the legal formalities.

The Celebrant will say:

Before you are joined in matrimony, I have to remind you of the solem and lasting character of the vows you are to make. Marriage according to the law of this country is the union of one man with one women, voluntarily entered into for life to the exclusion of all others. More than this, marriage is also intended to provide the love and friendship, help and comfort which each should have for the other, both in times of joy and hardship.

To Groom "Will you please tell me your full name"

To Bride "Will you please tell me your full name"

The Celebrant will then say:

"David and Tracey you have invited your friends and family here to witness your exchange of vows to each other. Are you both now ready to make your commitment to each other?"

Bride and Groom both reply together "We are".

Legal Declarations

The Celebrant will now say:

"Now you each have to declare that you do not know of any lawful reason why you should not be married to each other".

Celebrant " Are you David (full name) free lawfully to marry Tracey (full name)

Groom " I am"

Celebrant " Are you Tracey ( full name) free lawfully to marry David (full name)

Bride "I am"

Promises

The bride and groom can then make a promise to each other. The celebrant will lead you through this section saying the words a few at a time for you to repeate.

"I promise to care for you above all others, to give you my love and friendship, support and comfort, and to respect and cherish you throughout our lives together".

Marriage Vows

The Celebrant will say:

"Now the moment has come for David and Tracey to exchange their vows which will unite them as husband and wife. Could I please ask every one to stand".

The Celebrant will lead through the chosen vow saying a few words at a time for us to repeat.

"I David (full name) take thee Tracey (full name) to be my wedded wife"

"I Tracey (full name) take thee David (full name) to be my wedded husband"

Additional Personal Promises - we decided not to have.

Wedding Rings - The Bride and Groom will both give rings to each other.

Exchange of Rings

The Celebrant will say:

" We have now come to the exchange of rings, which is the traditional way of sealing the vows you have just made. The wedding ring is an unbroken circle; it symbolises everlasting love and is an outward sign of the life long promise you have made to each other. Who has the rings?"

Again the celebrant will lead through saying a few words at a time

I give you /accept this ring as a symbol of our marriage and as a reminder of the vows we have made here today
